Ghostly Friendship Charms – Tutorial

The 8th of June is National Best Friend DAY!!!

So in order to celebrate this appropriately, I am going to show you today how to make these super cute Yin Yang Ghost Bestie Charms!

You will need:

  • white clay
  • something cutty…to cut out things..
  • black acrylic paint
  • tooth pick

So let’s start!!

First you need to warm up your clay! Then roll it out and cut out a circle !

I know my glass is dirty^^’ but it was the only thing i had on hand..oopsthumb_IMG_8581_1024

If you don’t have a cookie cutter you can always do it free hand! yo!

Carefully make a small wavy line on your clay to see where you want to cut it in half. This way you can correct any mistakes!

Cut it when you’re ready!!

Make sure to smooth out the edges! Than add some pins and it can go into the oven !

Not that your charms have baked, let’s clean them !

(Also yes, there is another Tutorial coming for you on moonday say whaaaat)

I use nail polish remover to clean everything!

I took a little break, so excuse the lighting!

Now lets paint the other ghost! Yes it will be a black ghost !!

Now lets paint a face!

You can use a tiny brush(thats what I did) or a tooth pick!

Paint a second coat of black after the first one has dried, and if necessary a third one!

When this coat has dried paint on a white face!

Add some varnish….and….you…are….

FINISHED!!!!

Cute! Now you just have to give it to someone special!
